Welcome to Casual Domainer. This is the first post in the second edition of this site. To returning readers, thank you for visiting over the last 2 years or more and thanks for visiting again.

When I originally started casual domainer there were far fewer domain related blogs. Now there are many. I hope to snap back in and get back up to speed with links those in the blog roll and continue the discussions about many of the issues people are interested in.

In the original blog, I touched on many of those issues. Many of my predictions were realised and I hope to be able to remain on a nice curve in that sense.

For now, after a general thanks to all who find this blog, I’d like to ask you sincerely in regards to domains: What matters to you? I want to keep on asking that no matter what the issue is that’s being addressed. I’ll have my ideas too but I really want to hear from everyone – old or new to domains – on the outside or inside tracks.

The Domain scene is growing because all those new to it are following a similar fascination that most of us did. I’d like to keep this blog about those inspirational themes that helped motivate everyone and also I’d like Casual Domainer to be helpful in bringing newcomers in to the space and helping them avoid pitfalls that almost all new domainers face.
